You are dealing with real faith shaking things. I really understand what you were saying.

Sometimes when God answers, the answer is simply NO.

We do have the promise that whatsoever we ask in his name that he will do it. I think about life as one big book and each day of our life is a page. God has already read the back of the book and he knows what the outcome to your prayer may be. There is a perfect will and a permissable will. Arent you so glad to know that you are in Gods perfect will! Dont be discouraged and dont let your heart get bitter. It may be a while from now you will sit holding your beautiful baby and it will hit you just how perfectly God answered your prayer.

Love and Prayers

And as for my husband and I as far as dealing with other babies and all of that; you learn as you go. Sometimes its hard, sometimes its not. To tell you the truth, we adjust ourselves to Benedikte so fast its scary. A friend of mine had a "normal" daughter just 2 weeks after Bendikte was born. As you might know, DS kids grow slower than other kids. They are smaller and shorter. When I went to see my friend the other week, and saw her daughter, I actually thought to myself: "That baby is so big its disgusting!!" HA HA. The fact is that I had become so used to Benediktes size, everything bigger seemed freaky! Try to see the humour in it, we did. My friend laughed for half an hour. So, I guess we use a little humour to get by. And we cry when its hard. Everything goes. Theres no right or wrong way to go by this. You learn as you go.

New Forum http://www.downsyn.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=67 Connie Searching e-mail friends that are parents of DS children http://www.downsyn.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=76 Karen First of all congratulations on the birth of your daughter.  Im so glad all is going well medically.  My name is Karen and my daughter, Alexis, was born March 11 with DS.  As you, we did not know about it until they handed her to me and I knew immediately.  We also grieved and are still grieving for the child we didnt have, but Alexis smiles, coos, rolls over and today propped herself up on elbows and stayed there for quite some time.  We too were spared any medical complications and are thankful for that.  You have found a wonderful site here.  Everyone is so supportive and understanding and willing to help in any way possible.  Keep on posting or e-mail me personally if youd like.  Wed all like to keep up on the progress your sweet angel!]]> To JEFRY KLEIN http://www.downsyn.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=72 Jefry Klein
