I haven't used that particular brand but Sam gets a 1200 mg fish oil supplement every day for the omega 6 and 3s.

Hi Marianne
My eldest Elliott 12, I put on Eye Q when he was about 7 years. After reading the study done in a Primary school in Durham UK. He was very fidgety, unable to concentrate properly at school and was having great difficult reading and working independently. There was a noticable difference after about 6 weeks. The teachers reported he was more settled in class, concentration had improved, to the point he could be sat next to the most disruptive kid and he'd just get on with it. He has recently been diagnosised with Dyslexia so his reading level is still of a younger child. But if I forget to give it to him like in school holidays there is a noticeable change in his behaviour.
My cousins son was in a coma with a head injury a few years ago after a RTA. He developed some hyperactive and impulsive behaviour, unable to sit still and concentration for long. She put him on Omega 3 and 6 and he's 9 now and notices himself if he misses it. Matt feels it helps stop his thoughts racing, helps him concentrate and think more clearly. I put Dominic 2 DS on it at 13 weeks old and he's been on it since. I take it also. It reportedly helps brain function, helps keep heart healthy and is used in depression and Artheritis. The Eye Q is expensive but I buy it when Boots have their buy 2 get 1 free. LOTS OF SIMILAR STUFF ON THE MARKET NOW. BOOTS ALSO DO THEIR OWN VERSION WHICH TASTES NICE AND IS £4.00 CHEAPER. JUST CHECK AGES YOU CAN GIVE FROM AND WATCH OUT FOR THE ONES WITH VIT A IN TO ENSURE THAT YOUR NOT OVER SUPPLEMENTING IT. Flaxseed oil is a non fish form of Omega 3.

Omega 3's/fish oils are very good for DS and everyone in general. They are good for alot of things, especially the heart.

My mom takes ProDHA caps from Nordic Naturals (very good fish oil company). She takes them and my brother gets them via her breastmilk. Once he gets a bit older, he'll take them on his own. This is what we bought and where we get ours -
