Topic: For the return of our dog Archie

Here is a picture of our pug Archie when Eliza was just a few months old He has been so wonderful with her. We call him her therapy dog because he motivates her to move, cause she loves to roll around with him. He is always so gentle and lets her pulls his ears. Anyway tonight he is missing and i am really scared. Since we started doing construction he has started escaping and wondering around our neighborhood. Thankfully for the kindness of our neighbors someone has always brought him back. But he keeps finding new ways to escape. It's like if dog's got Alzheimers (he's 11 years old) he wanders and can't find his way home. Well tonight no one has brought him back. He has never been gone this long. And there's a rain and hail storm outside. We've canvassed the neighborhood and called animal control but no luck. His "wife" Lulu is frantically worried. Please pray that no harm has come to him and he's in a safe warm place for the night so we can search and find him tomorrow. We are a dog family (currently have a big mutt who is blind) so we can appreciate what it's like to have one of the family missing. When our dog gets loose he can't find his way back either. Thank you for all your thoughts. The good news is (after basically being up all night thinking of what could of happened to him) at 6AM this morning i hear scratching at the door and it's Archie! We have had rain and hail all night but he was bone dry so he spent the night somewhere warm and dry! God only knows. But i thank whomever had him last night. Now that I know he is safe I am made at him and he is staying on a "short leash" from now on!
