Ugh, and I didn't take our Christmas pics yet!! He had a fever this week but no other symptoms. He has a molar coming in so I figured he was just teething. He was definitly sleepy and lethargic, but I wasn't too worried. Then yesterday morning, we were at Elayna's preschool Christmas party and I was holding Daniel on my lap. I saw his neck has some red marks on it. I looked down his shirt and his trunk was full of a rash. I nearly died. My heart started to race and I felt faint. I of course immediately thought it was petechia.

The party was almost over so when we got out to the car, I called the ped and we drove right over. I told her about the fever, she saw the rash and immediately said 'classic case of roseola'. She said hurry up and take your pictures, because it usually spreads!!

Needless to say, his face is a mess. Please say a little prayer for my Daniel. And while you're at it....say another for my sanity!!

His rash will be gone by Christmas...don't fret. I'm sorry he's feeling so bad. Not fun.

Ugh!! Maybe you should do black and white pictures then?! I don't think it would show up in those and that would look so cool! Many prayers for Mr. Daniel to get better soon!

Oh that does stink! I tell you my Daniel has had Roseola twice....he is so so so fussy, hopefully your Daniel won't be too fussy for you over this next couple of days (((hugs)))

Lisa....hope that Daniel is better soon. Zack had roseola about a month and a half ago.....the acyual rash only lasted a few days...maybe 3 or 4...you guys should be all good by Christmas. Hugs!

Haley & Kassidy have both had it but Lacey hasn't got it yet.. Poor little guy that rash is so itchy and uncomfortable.. Did he tell you it is contagious?? Both the girls faces and especially their cheeks got so red.. Hope he feels better soon and that your sanity is coming back lol..

Sorry that Daniel has Roseala! Not sure where you are having your photos, but if it is with a photographer/or a digital place they can usually "fix" any blemishes.

Oh No, Poor Daniel! Hope he feels better soon. My kids have never had it but I guess I did as a baby. I am sure verything will be fine in time for xmas and I also LOVE the black/white pic idea. Keep us posted on his recovery!!!
