since this is our first time iam a little confused. 1. Its $195 for the whole family but then on the side of the registration form for the youth and adult conf its $75 per person. is that extra? or is that something different?
2. also, is the banquet a dressy thing? $38 a person for our whole family gets pretty pricey. just wondering who is all going and if its really worth it....
thanks for your help!
3. Anyone have suggestions to what we should attend????
I am lost!!! help!
thanks!!!

1. yes that's an extra, because those are prices for youth and adults with down syndrome conferences. so you dont have to check that since Mayson is a baby
2. the banquet is formal, not too dressy! it was nice the last year specially the video of the youth/adults with DS
3. i dont know how old are your kids, but if they can maybe the brothers and sisters conference its a good idea (For siblings entering 6th-12th grade in Fall of 2007)
what you should attend?? i think close to the date there will be a detail schedule of the conferences so you can pick better on what to attend.
last year i went to PT, teaching reading (in spanish), latin-american reunion and what down syndrome is

If you are a NDSC member it's $165 for the family. So we became members... it would save you $5! LOL
We just registered for the conference and the Friday preconference day. Kevin and I are going to see Dr. Capone so that's another $60 each, $120 total, above and beyond the $165. We also did the extra compendium and the CD.
We did not do the banquet though. We felt that would be time for us to spend it with other families we know that aren't going to the banquet.
And yes.. the youth/adult sign up is for ones w/DS. Self Advocates
