Prayer Request (non-Ds)

My little six year old son fell off the monkey bars yesterday and broke his arm - both bones. He will be having an orthopedic surgeon set his arm tomorrow under general anesthesia. Of course I'm just asking for you all to say a little prayer that all goes well! Thank you so much!

Oh....and a reminder to please please check your kiddos prescriptions! Last night the ER doctor prescribed my son the wrong drug in the wrong amount for pain relief. After three pharmacist said they could not fill it (thank GOD), I finally called the doctor back and he said it was a mistake and he rewrote the prescription. Big fat Ugh.

Thank you!
Kris

Thank you all. He is doing fine. His six sisters are catering to his every need (well, OK, five, not Erin, LOL) and he is watching all of his favorite movies. He even mentioned how it wasn't so bad to break a bone after all Laughing I think he's starting to enjoy all the attention. We met with the orthopedic surgeon today and all went well. He will set the bone and cast it tomorrow. Thank goodness it did not involve the wrist bones, which would be a bit trickier. And yes, Philomena, we are thanking God that we did not give our son the first prescription, which very likely could have landed us right back into the ER! kris
