I'm wondering when your baby had his/her first haircut. Teddy has a funny 4 inch long wispy tail fringe in on his neck that needs cut but I don't know if I have the heart to! He used to sport a pretty cool mohawk though and maybe we'll go to that.
I'm waiting for his daddy to come home to help out with keeping him still!

LOL No baby haircuts in my family!

My girls have NO HAIR. Well, Ellie does now, and the only raosn I gave her a haircut is beacsue it was very uneven from "natural" growth. And I only did the back.

Nichole, as you can see, is far from needing one. I just want this girl to get some more hair! And amazingly she has three times more her than her oldest sister ever did!

Quinn won't be getting a haircut for a while because she is going to have LONG hair - woo hoo.

But my boys had their first haircut around 9 mts. She would have too if she was a boy. My babies are born with a lot of hair.

I didn't do it! Since we're moving in 2 weeks, I'm going to wait and see what his hair does in the tropical humid climate. I even had the scissors and comb out!

Eden was born with TONS of hair so I have already had to trim the back up a little. It was looking WAY too much like a mullett!!! Shocked Embarassed Laughing But now the front has gotten really long too and we are always having to brush it out of her eyes. It's too fine and her head is too little so none of the little head bands stay on and I tried to put the front up in a little rubber band but that came out immediately. Maybe I'll just trim up the front a little.

Both Georgia and Ethan were born with tons of hair and both sported mohawks Smile

I had Georgia's cut when she was just over a year, her hair got so long on top it went flat and was in her eyes all the time Smile

Ethan's is still very much a mohawk, when he was newborn the midwife would ask if I used products in his hair to get it to stay up!!!! I'm dreading when the time comes for his first haircut, it's such a part of his personality!

Noah and Angela were born with thick black hair, and Tyler was born with a very tidy sandy-blonde do. LOL

Noah got his first cut at 7 months old when it was in his eyes. Tyler got his first cut around a year.

With Angela I was determined she would have looooong hair! LOL I cut her bangs, but other than that she never got a cut until she was 5! Here's a picture of her at 3 1/2.

Here she is in Kindergarten.

This is when she suddenly became obsessed with her hair! She started using the ends of her braids as paint brushes, and stimming by rubbing the ends of them on the palms of her hands. This turned into touching EVERYTHING she could with the ends of her braids. This picture was taken about 20 minutes after arriving to school that day. Her hair had been PERFECT when we left the house, but I had to re-do it before pictures.

By 1st grade she was consumed by her hair, and although she would sit very nicely to have it done each day, she wouldn't tolerate clips, scrunchies, or ANYTHING in her hair, so we went to this:

I have tried several times over the last 4 years to grow her hair out again, but as soon as it touches her shoulders she starts twisting it up in knots when she sleeps. I had her bangs grown out about a year and a half ago, then one morning woke up to find them not only in knots, but many parts broken right off, so I cut bangs again.

Then last spring her hair started falling out by the comb-ful. Turns out it was because of one of her meds, and we were told it would start growing back in soon. I've just noticed in the last week or so that there is new growth poking through her hair (so it's about an inch long, but very fine.)

Now she has a friend with reaaaaaallly long hair, and enough of it for 10 kids. LOL Angela really wants long hair like her friend, so we're trying, once again, to grow it out. A couple more months and it'll be touching her shoulders, so we'll see how it goes!

PJ's first haircut was done a few days before his first birthday. He lost all his baby hair in the first few months so it took a year to grow back in. It's still thinner that it will be eventually, I think, but it was over his ears, and looks better all trimmed up, I think.

Ethan's mohawk is exactly what Teddy's used to look like! We always were getting comments on it too!

LOL

My mom just trimmed the hair around Benjamin's ears last week. He was 8 1/2 months old. I can't stand it when it comes down over their ears.

I love Teddy's hair! He is just so stickin' cute I want to scoop him up and give him kisses! Ace has had two trims both done by grammy, but we will have to have it done professionally soon. It gets all shaggy in the back from his flannel sheets and now with this cold weather - OMG it's just a mess.... Static and Frizz - I'm so jealous you have 80 degrees and humidity Sad

We got the SHE's so cute too w/ Jaret. I just ignored it and said yes, HE is, isn't he??? Jacey is like Nichole and has little hair, so she won't be getting a trim for a LONG time!!

You have 80 degree weather?? I HATE you!! (JK, of course). It's been
-6 here the past couple of mornings.... UGH!
