How old was your baby w/ Ds when s/he started STTN?? Jacey has always been an excellent sleeper - began STTN at 6 weeks old. I attributed it to the Ds, but am wondering if it's just her laid back personality. She is the total opposite of my typical son (thankfully - I don't know if I could handle another pistol like him!!)....

15 weeks. From 7 to 7
And she would have slept through the night as soon as we brought her home, but we had to wake her up in the middle of the night for feedings and for me to pump if I wanted to keep my milk supply.
And I have read that if a baby is less than 10 pounds, you should at least wake them up once.

VERY early. Katelyn was in the NICU for 3 weeks- the nurses there said she probably would have slept through the night if they would have let her. Then after she got home, I had to wake her up to feed her in the middle of the night. As soon as she gained weight, we stopped that. I think that was either 4 or 5 weeks and we have never looked back.
Honestly, this girl can sleep. I think I have been up with her in the middle of the night two times her whole life- and both times she was back asleep within an hour.

I am so jealous!! 7 months and counting for Eden. It's not that she CAN'T sleep thru...she has done it at various points but she just seems to go through cycles when she starts waking up again. Every time I think we have got it licked, she says "just kidding!!!"

Hayden was always such a great sleeper too! He actually lost weight in the begining because I let him go like 4 hours between feedings. So my lactation consultant advised me not let him go more than 5 hours more than once a night till he was 4 months.... I cheated a little but he was gaining weight so I thought it was alright Since about 6 months he sleeps from 8pm till 5 am eats then sleeps till 7ish. Same as my typical child. my oldest didn't sleep 12 hours straight till he was a year. but he only woke up once and I was a wimp so i would just feed him and put him back to sleep. but he slept so good other wise.

Reese was 3 months old when she started sleeping from 8pm-6am straight. She sleeps well at night with a very occasional night where she gets up, but she is a horrible napper. I am lucky if I get two 40 minute naps out of her.....

Ethan STTN at 8 weeks old, even before this he would go for long periods between feeds during the night and has always been able to settle to sleep by himself. I love listening to him at nightime as he babbles to himself and blows the loudest raspberries

My 3yr old didn't sleep through the night until she was a year old. Seriously....a whole freaking year of no sleep!
Callie slept through the night (7p-6a) since she was 6 wks. I wanted to shout it from the rooftops.....I wanted to stop strangers in the street to tell them that my newborn slept all night long.....I wanted people to ask if I was getting any sleep just so I could say "YES. Plenty!" We've been 7-6(ish) ever since. I'm a lucky lady!

Well Derrin will be 3 mos on Monday and he still wakes up but only once or maybe twice just to eat and will go to sleep right afterwards. I have a feeling he will be STTN pretty soon
And I just wanted to add that my daughter who will be 3 next week, started sleeping thru the night this summer

Hayden has always been "advanced" I feel in his sleeping habits
When he was a week old he would go 4 hours between feedings before he would ever cry. But it was bad b/c I was trying to just breastfeed and he couldn't get enough on his own. The lactation consultant encouraged me to feed him every 3 hours except one stretch of 5 hours at night! Boy that was hard. I cheated kinda early and he would go for 8 hour stretched starting at about 5 months. I have never had to let him cry it out so far... but
starting at about 7 months he will go to sleep at 8pm and then wake up at 4or 5 am I will feed him and then he will sleep till 7 or 8am.
With my typical child it was about the same. I was a wimp and he slept so good only waking once during the 12 hours stretch so I would just nurse him and then he would go back to sleep on his own. Just before he was a year I would start sending my husband in to help him relax and go back to sleep and with in a week he would go 12 hours w/ no problem. I don't know if it was overdue or he was just ready but it was easy!
With naps Hayden has a hard time condensing his day naps to just two it took him till like 6 months. Now at almost 11 months he is wanting to take just one if he sleeps 12 hours. My first didn't do that untill he was 14 months.
I am kinda sad b/c I love my one on one time with him while he brother is asleep
Ok i went on and on. sorry . I just like talking about my kids

When Dylan was 6 weeks old, he began STTN. BUT, ever since his OHS almost 4 weeks ago, he wakes at least once (it was about 4 times!) to eat. I cant wait until he sleeps through again...Im tired!

Sofie did not STTN regularly until she was over a yr old
Julia started sleeping 7pm to 7am when she was about 5 weeks old. Even thru her long hospital stay and narcotic withdrawal she slept thru, thank God!

Amarli would of slept through the night as soon as she was born but i woke her to feed her but stopped waking her at 6wks. She also sleeps 7 to 7. But she was also a catnapper during the day and was 8mths before she began to have a proper sleep in the day.

Lily slept through the night early too, like 6 weeks old. I remember having to wake her up to feed her before her OHS.

Benjamin (DS) was only seven weeks old when he started STTN. I've had to do CIO with him for naps, but not at night.
My older son, Andrew, started STTN when we did CIO at 12 weeks. It took four nights.

Cael has always slept a lot - he began sleeping 12 hours a night when he was 11 weeks old. We never did CIO with him or our other son. It took a while with our other son, but we are pleased we stuck it out.

The first seven all started STTN around age five, that is years, not months. The last is only fifteen months and expect that he will sleep along through the night at age five too or maybe even later.

I think Henry was 4 or 5 months. Ramona is 6 months and still gets up anywhere from 1 to 6 times a night. Some nights she won't go down at all, I think tonight is one of those.

1st umm around 5years we co slept till 7years, it helps so much not having to get up through the night.
2nd 6 weeks ( I was young though it was great till I started to loose milk supply ) Co slept till 2 her choice wanted to have her own bed
3rd woo hoo finally at 4.5years and now at 1 month of his 5th birthday he has slept 2 nights in his own room!
4th Aden child with Ds, I had to wake him around the clock 2 - 3hourly for feeding EBM (expressed breast milk) he slept well, I’d put him the category of sleeping through, he would have if I let him lol.
I stopped expressing at 8mths, continued to wake him for feeds until 1year old (he struggled with weight gains…
He sleeps through the nights from when I stopped waking him, although until his T&A he tossed and turned all night. We don’t co sleep buy his cot is against my bed. I’m looking for a toddler bed from him so we can keep in our room and hope he stays there for a long time to come.
