Are any of your kids taking Risperdal plus a stimulant? If so, which one?
We are seeing Kayla's dev ped tomorrow and we had talked about adding a stimulant to decrease her appetite and increase her attention. Wondering if anyone's had some experience with thes.

We tried Vyvanse. It did decrease Oliver's appetite, but he didn't sleep AT ALL!! So we stopped, but will likely try something else again....

We do not to a stimulant. We are good with just the Risperdal. Let us know how it goes if you do decide to add one!

Well, Kayla didn't gain any weight over the past two months (yay!) so we don't need to add a stimulant.
The dev ped was disappointed in Kayla's progress on Risperdal, tho. He was hoping she'd go from being nonverbal to verbal.
Geez, I wasn't even expecting that!
