Domestic adoptions

Twelve babies with Down syndrome for adoption!!

TWELVE birth families currently trying to make an adoption plan for their pre-born babies. This is a good problem.

Are you interested in adopting a baby boy or girl with Down syndrome???? Do you have friends who might be interested?????

You can contact Robin Steele at rsteele@zoomtown. com

Having a current homestdy would need to be done if not already! (by the way I have done them so fast for domestic ones..... 10 days)

I've never met her but talked to her several times on the phone. She seems like a sweet & caring person. We'd like to try to adopt either a special needs child or one with Downs. I don't know how much Robin can help with adoption in Fl. cause that's where we are? I'd also like a toddler. I've looked at photolistings in Ohio (my hometown) & sent asking about a couple of little girls. Have to wait & see. Debbie Smile Thanks

We first contacted Robin in May of last year. We checked back in regularly but nothing developed from it. We ended up locating LC on our own...There are a lot of factors at play, though, and I'm guessing she prefers to match up babies with prospective in-state families, etc. I'm not sure how that all works.

Thanks Courtney, By the way what a pretty little girl! Did you find L.C. in Kansas where you are? I've been looking at photolisting all over & not having much luck. We are just starting the process so we are checking our options. I sent back our registration to Robin today so maybe I'll here something from her. We really can't afford to adopt international so are looking at adopting from foster care. Preferably a little girl (I have 2 grown sons). who is around 3 - 5 years old with some disabilities. Thanks for the reply. Debbie
