Kallen had OT evaluation last week. The OT gave him a doll and a comb to test body awareness. She wanted to see if he new the body parts and what to do with the comb. She also gave him a tissue to see if he new what to do with it. Problem is: the doll was very small and although he knows what tissues are for, it confused him. He first put it on the doll's head and then over her, like a blanket. I could see that it was the size of the doll that was confusing him.
Our OT, Ronel, told him to "blow the doll's nose"
He then blew the doll's nose...like blowing something that is hot, or blowing bubbles! It was so sweet, we just laughed, and he did exactly what was asked of him, just not the we thought he must do it.

He is definitely with it. Give him a tissue the size of a blanket to the doll and he used it as a blanket. Tell him to blow the doll's nose and he blew on it. He is a smart kid! Smile
