my son has rosey cheeks lately. i figured out it's from wiping his face after he eats. his cheeks and chin turn all pink and stay that way for a while. i think all the drooling, wiping and the dry winter air is creating this cute but bothersome complextion on his face. i put some desitin on his cheeks and it has worked well. anybody else have this experience?

Both of my boys are extremely fair and have bright red cheeks all winter. If they play outside in the cold, people ask if they have Fifth's Disease! We use Aquaphor on cheeks, but for us, waiting till spring is the only thing I've found really to make those rosy cheeks go away.

Ali has the rosy cheeks, sometimes worse than others. (You can kind of see it in her top pic.) I think it's pretty common with kiddos with DS, especially the fair ones. We try to scrub as little as possible and to keep moisturizer on it. I like Aquaphor or the Neutrogena hand cream.

Noah's usually get rosey from teething, when he's sick or when his skin is a little dry

Lilly's cheeks are always red through the winter. We also use aquaphor and moisterizing chap stick. Both help a little, but they don't totally clear up until spring/summer rolls around.

Ditto to the others. Ragan rubs his face in the bedding a lot. I use lots of lotion but he will make himself chapped.

Lucy's cheeks become red as soon as the temp drops below 50 degrees in the fall, and stay that way until it rises above in the spring. I use a little Aquaphor on her face every day and that does the trick.

Kylie has rosie cheeks as well, and sometimes look scaly (sp)! But my oldest daughter's cheeks would get that way from getting like ranch dressing or other dipping sauces on them when she would eat! Really weird! lol

Henry's cheeks are always red, more so in the winter. We use aquaphor and occassionally I use hydrocortizone cream. I took him to a dermatologist who perscribed a 2% solution for eczema, but I just use the OTC 1%.

Austin's cheeks are so red!!! I alternate between Aveeno moisturizing lotion and some type of eczema creme. Honestly, I don't think either are working very well...
