I tried it once. I swear, I am missing a joint in my lower back. My body just doesn't MOVE that way! LOL

me and my niece decided to take it up and we were both saying we wished we looked as coordinated and cute as the instructor does when she moves. lol

I loved Zumba! I do not catch on to steps quickly, so I always stay to the back of the class, but as long as I am moving, I feel good about it! Smile

i feel like my feet are all over the place but it's a good workout nonetheless. afterwards i want to collapse lol!

My daughter's dance studio is going to start offering it. If the class times work out for my schedule, I'm going to try it! Looking forward to it!!!

thanks!

i am going to be teaching dance classes for those with special needs next month and beyond and the zumba class they have is offered through the same company. i think that's great that your daughter will be taking zumba! it's a lot of fun and you definately get a workout! i don't like to exercise and this is perfect for me because it doesn't feel like i am. let me know what you think of it! Very Happy

zumba is a mix of "salsa, cha-cha, samba, tango, merengue, flamenco, calypso, hip-hop and belly dancing" all put into one fast-paced, intense workout. it's a lot more fun than just hopping on a tredmill, that's for sure!
