I have meaning to type something here but I haven't had a chance. Max is having his open heart surgery today. They took him back at 8:30 and we just got word that he is on the bypass machine and they are starting the actual repair now. Please pray for my baby and the surgeon that God will work through him to fix my baby's heart. Also please pray for a smooth and easy recovery and no pacemaker!!
He made it to 13lbs 7oz and he is one week away from being 4 months.
I don't write much on here but I also read all the postings. You guys have been such inspirations to me and my family. Thank you!! I will keep you updated.

Many thoughts and prayers your way. I know this is a scary thing to have to go through. Max is in good hands and God is helping all the doctors and nurses. Please keep us posted on how he is doing. HUGE hugs.

Well Max is doing ok for now. The doctor said the surgery went well. We are so thankful. We are sitting in ICU now. Max is on the ventilator still. They want him to rest but Max has other plans. He is so rotten. He keeps waking up and kicking around. They keep giving him loads of meds to sedate him but they are not working. Thank you for your prayers..please keep praying for a fast and easy recovery.
If intertested you can check out my blog...please just don't think I am crazy with all my emotions...lol

Glad to hear all went well - I remember those days much too well. And one thing you can often say about our kids is they don't like sedation They ended up putting mittens on Perse to stop her grabing wires and tubes!

Way to go Max. You rock little man.
We would never think you are crazy about your emotion. It's all part of being a parent. Huge hugs.
