Just looking to have some fun here. I cannot stand to HEAR the sound of someone chewing! My kids seem to know this so while I am on the computer will come and stand beside me while eating. What drives you up the wall??

Lots of things actually... *LOL* But since we're talking about irrational dislikes, I CAN'T stand long nails... On myself or others. When I hear or feel a fingernail scraping on anything else I freak out. I attack my kids with nail clippers as soon as they start getting a white nailtip longer than a couple of mms.

Yikes - you would not like sleeping in the same room with me - I snore and snort and whimper in my sleep - lol. I just had a sleep study and thankfully no apnea. I guess my dh just has to put up with it Very Happy.

People chewing with their mouth open. Those lip smacking noises send me over the edge.

Apart from noises it would be on the road when people go slow in the overtaking lane. Yes, I confess, I have road rage issues Embarassed Very Happy

Oh wow hon, you then can't stand half of the worlds population. Snoring is something one can't control like gum chewing and smacking ones mouth with food in it.

My pet peeve is when someone comes into the house and leaves a trail of cloths from the door to where they end up. My kids are known for this and it drives me bonkers. Also can't stand it when they don't hang up their towels after shower or bath time. You would think my kids would know better since I've been grabbing them by the back of the neck for years every morning and leading them back to the bathroom. Oh and one more..lol. When someone leaves 1 mouth full of drink in their glass. Whay can't they just finish that last sip? Now that one boils me. Evil or Very Mad

I once worked with someone who cleaned out their fingernails with the end of a paperclip and then stuck the paperclip back in the pile - uggh!!

My dh thinks he owns the passing lane - I guess I'd have to say my husband's driving is a pet peeve. At this point in life he usually hands the car keys to me rather than listen to my "helpful suggestions for safe driving" the whole trip.

Lol Very Happy. Man, do WE have issues....haha. Oh, the grooming at work is horrible. Seriously, u can't cut your nails at home?? Evil or Very Mad I had a friend who used to chew on the insides oh her cheeks. Then she would have sores in her mouth. She hated it but couldn't stop. So every time she did it I would pinch her cheeks really hard....guess what? Not doing in anymore! Very Happy I just think that some people should learn some etiquette and control themselves in public. Yes, snoring they can't help but chewing gum with an open mouth it picking their noses is just disgusting. I don't find that funny at all. Confused

This is a funny thread.

Ok, I have a weird one.... people who walk around everywhere with a Big Gulp in their hands. It's like they just can't give up that last half a cup of pop even though they've drank a litre/gallon already. I don't know why, it drives me nuts. My friend's will take their cups with them now in Walmart after Mcdonalds just to bug me. Lol

People who can't donate a buck once in awhile to a charity at the cash register. It's a buck people!!! My friends have lots of money. There's no excuse. They're just cheap. Lol. So I donate 2 dollars when I'm next in line. One for them and one for me. He he he. I'm getting them back for the takeout cups they have in their hands.

People who walk behind SUV's when they are backing up!!! We have major blind spots! So do a lot of vans! If you can't see the driver's face and they haven't acknowledged you, don't walk behind them!!! Lol.

Ok, those are my top 3. Very Happy

I hate people who don't pick after their dog or if they do they then throw the bag with it in into nearby bushes or trees.

This bugs me too! They will do this while we are sitting on our porch watching.

When people groom while driving. If I ever get into an accident with someone b/c they were plucking their eyebrows or shaving (yes I've seen someone shaving) I will be steamed.

People who are passive agressive, if you have a problem with me (or someone else) tell that person, don't make vague statements

I have many, but my biggest pet-peeves are:

1. Poor grammar.....spelling/punctuation, etc. in writing, as well as *poor English* while speaking. I know everyone was taught proper English/grammar in school- REMEMBER IT & USE IT!

2. Sounds of chewing and talking with your mouth full of food. C'mon people- have some respect for people around you!
