Just wanted all those families who have family members in our armed forces overseas to know that they are in my thoughts and prayers and have my support.

Well Barbara, I appreciate that you are praying for us. As a member of the Air Force, I can say I am apprehensive and scared. The threat is so real and I don't think Saddam is going to back down. But know this Barbara, we are ready and I put on my uniform everyday and do what I do for you and your family's safety. I fix electrical units on the F-16 fighter jet, like the "black boxes" and such. I also know when it's time, we will kick @$$. The only thing that scares me is chemical warfare. I think Saddam is a dangerous man and is not below using illegal weapons. My husband is also in the military and there is also a chance we get deployed at the same time, so Marcel may be spending some time with my parents. Sad However, sleep well at night, I trust my troops and we will protect you. All in a days work. Wink

God Bless all our armed forces, UK and US.......what awful news about the casualties already. Saddam must be stopped but there seems to be more anti war feeling this time round, for some reason.

I would be scared if my children had to go to war but I would be SO proud if they wanted to serve their country in the armed forces (does that make sense?!)

Take care, eveyone, and have a good weekend,
