Do people bring there kids to the actual conferences or classes? It is a possibility that just me and Macy will be able to attend in KC and I would like to go to some classes for info. but am wondering if it would be ok to bring her with? Do people do that?
Thanks!

Most definitely! There were kids of all ages in the sessions. It pretty much was just a general understanding that if your kid was fussing, then you stepped out, but it was totally acceptable!

NDSC is the most kid-friendly conference you will ever attend. Expect everyone to make a fuss over your child!

Hey, I'm bringing Angela, and since I'm going alone this year, she's going to have to sit through a couple of sessions. (Thank god for portable DVD players!) But once she starts doing things like tapping the person in front of us and saying, "Hey! Watch this part!" or shouting at the top of her lungs , "Mom! Look what Cody did!" then we'll be stepping out.

Can you really get anything out of the sessions if your child is with you? I'd like to go this year but I assumed I'd need to leave Katie home if I was going to really learn anything. Don't you have back to back workshops, and shopping, etc.? I get so stressed when my kids don't behave right and I'm trying to focus on something.

I've been wondering the same thing. I'd like to find some way to go, but I KNOW my daughter isn't going to be able to handle all of that. Do they have some sort of "day care" situation set up at all? I am positive I couldn't focus with Mina there all of the sessions.
