OMG Sally and I had the BEST time. It was like we had known each other for years. Unfortunately Noah was sicker than he has been in forever, had an ear infection, possible strep, a high fever, a cough from hell and was absolutely miserable starting the second day we were out there, so it could have been a lot better. Sally only got to see the fun, crazy, silly Noah for 1 day. We had to take him to a clinic out there twice for medicine. Poor baby. We had to keep Noah away from Mya because we didn't want her to get sick, so we didn't get any Mya/Noah pictures, boo hoo. Anyway, we still managed to have a good time. Mya is an absolute doll baby. I cannot describe how beautiful and perfect she really is. I got MANY snuggles and neck kisses from her,and she smelled SOOOOOOOO good. She has the chubbiest little feet and hands, oh I could just eat her. And Krissy is such a wonderful mommy, so patient and so loving with her. It was just amazing. And let me tell ya, Sally just doesn't like Mya at all, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. I'll never forgive you Sally for kissing MYA right in the mouth all those times and getting all that sugar right in front of me!!!! Pure torture!!!!! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
The good news is that Noah is almost back to normal again. The sad news is that I miss Sally terribly and cried the whole way to the airport, and then had the sniffles the whole way home. I'm sure another trip to California will be planned in the future, along with some trips for Sally and her husband to Maryland!!! I love you Sally!!! Vonda

Vonda and I did have a GREAT time. Over the past, almost year, Vonda and I have become extremely close. She is like the sister I never had. Funny how we can go through so much of our lives without having such a friend. Now here I am 41 years old, and Vonda makes me feel like a young girl again. We are like a couple of goofy teenagers, giggling and just having a blast. I was so nervous about actually meeting her in person, but then once we were together, it was like we always have been...it was so natural. Parting was terrible. We cried, we laughed, we cried some more.
Poor little Noah, he got sick and was just so sad. But I did get to see the real Noah, and he is a wonderful little man. He was so cute, when he met Manny, my husband, he reached out and shook his hand, and did that again when we said goodbye. Manny even got kisses. Halle is my new pal. She learned real quickly that Auntie Sally will give her anything she wants. My dog, Lucy, misses Peyton and Sophie and looked for them all afternoon.
It is hard to believe that we were all together yesterday and now...we are completely across the country again. I do miss Vonda terribly all ready. I cannot wait to see her and Noah and the rest of the family again. We are planing a trip to Maryland this spring. I LOVE YOU TOO VONDA!!!!

I am so glad that you had a good time and I am sorry that Noah got sick. But.... Next time you plan a trip to California you either 1. need to make a pit stop in San Diego to see Jeff, Emma, Me and Samantha or 2. tell me so I can go to Sally's also I am so jealous But I am so happy for you both. It has to be great to meet our family up close and personal, and an experience that can never be outdone. I can not wait to see the pictures!!! Elizabeth

What a wonderful trip you two had!! Can you believe that your little people with Ds brought you together?! Isn't it strange how God works?? I have had so many blessings in my life since Jane has arrived-one being a part of this family on-line. We are very lucky...
