Okay, well most of you will remember me asking for advice on my sister several months ago. Well, here's an update on the entire situation. She had originally planned to stay and they were doing okay. I warned her that the good days wouldn't last but she didn't want to listen. Then it happened!! I got a phone call just this Thursday morning past. It was my step-mother calling all the way from Tampa, Florida. She sounded freaked out and a nervous wreck. I asked what was wrong and I got told that my sister and her 3 children were on their way to my home. Apparently her husband beat the living doo-doo out of her. I spoke to my sister just moments later and she advised me that he had tried to strangle her and possibly broken something in her neck or shoulder along with bruised or broken ribs, etc.. He had even beaten her middle son the night before and that's what caused this fight. My 3 year old nephew has whelps down his legs and back, bruises on his legs and arms. He got him pretty bad. My sister is now living in the Alabama Hope Place with her 3 children. She filed a police report, had him arrested and fled with the boys. She is doing better but has been seen by a doctor. Most of her ribs are very bruised, possible torn rotor cuff, and her neck is very sore from the strangulation attempt. The home has rules and all sorts of policies but she is HAPPY. She already sounds like the sister I knew 4 years ago before he entered her life. Please do me a favor and just keep them in your thoughts. Ok, I will stop here. Thanks for all your prayers from before. It took a while and maybe not quite the exit we hoped for but, at least her and all 3 kids are safe.

So glad she's out of that situation, and her kids too. Hopefully they will all be getting the help they need at this centre, to help them get over it. It's a nightmare this kind of thing, and I just hope he won't get away with it, so he can go and repeat this on another unsuspecting woman, or worse, child.
My sister was in the same boat, but got out eventually! Now she's a happy, strong single mum with a gorgeous son and a lovely, gentle boyfriend. And the courts have said dad can have 'No contact' with his son due his violence and aggression.
How can someone who says they love another person do this to them? I just can't understand it.
You're a good sister and we'll be praying for all of you.
