Tom,

The last couple of days I've noticed that if I try to get to the forum first thing in the morning (around 9am GMT) then I get this message

phpBB : Critical Error

We are currently experiencing technical problems. We expect to have these problems fixed shortly. Please try again in a little while.

I tried again a while later and got this message

Code:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not query config information

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 2013 Lost connection to MySQL server during query

SELECT * FROM phpbb_config

Line : 218
File : common.php

Tried again maybe 10 minutes later and got in but very slow.

Is there maintenance work that happens overnight? did you ever move servers/

I get this all the time. I've started wondering if it happens when the site "owner" is on. I did some research on the problem last night and that was the best theory I could come up with.

I’m on another forum set up the same as this one we get the DEBUG MODE a bit
