All the rain that we have had is causing our rivers to flood. We are being hit with all the water that "runs down" from MN as well. Some of our friends have lost their homes. The water in our basement seems so insignificant now...
Our town is closing all its bridges, some people will literally be "stuck."
If you think of us in northern Iowa, keep us in your prayers.

The flooding around here is crazy. I just talked to my parents and a friend where Ellen lives and the walking/suspension bridge, which is what the town is known for is completely gone. I wouldn't be surprised if one or two of the bridges collapses there too.
Two of the towns hit by the tornado two weeks ago.. now one of them was hit by the tornado on the north side of town and some of those people have moved to the south side of town which is now under water and they have been evacuated. The other town that lost 1/2 of the south side of town and hundreds of homes and 6 lives in the tornado, their levy broke this morning and they have having serious flooding issues.
Please pray for some long days of sunshine and dry weather!! Although the forecast is exactly the opposite of that!!

Us too. Most of our flooding came from the very fast snow melt, not to mention the record setting snow fall. It has been raining unusual amounts for June and its cold here.
Praying all our weather gets under control.

I've been thinking about you and emailed you finally today. I'm so sad to hear that you have been affected. You know you will be in my prayers. Do you still have water. My parents in Mason have been without it since Sunday.

Look slike a lot more rain is coming our way! And we really need some dry days! Tornado watches are also everywhere and I get so worked up I can't even sleep. Wizard of Oz must have traumatized me as a child
I know Mason is getting hit again, We are about to, and Waterloo is also getting worse. Cedar Rapids area I saw is also really struggling. many people are losing their homes.
We only have some water in our basment. Nothing to complain about.
Would be glad to share some water with Mexico Ali, that is for sure.

Not to hijack the thread but
Please pray for the rain to come to GA... we are drying up here. We are in a 10 year drought. Our hay is brown, most of the state is in water restriction. We are getting desperate! Pray for God to move the 'fronts' to GA and the southern region of the country!"
Praying for the Rain to cease where you guys are and come here!

Continued prayers...

Praying for the weather everywhere to return to something like normal. I'm just afraid that we humans have so messed up our poor planet that things will never be normal again.

It did! Thanks for praying! It rained pretty steady for about 45 minutes. Now, if ya'll would please pray that the rain will come and stay a bit longer!!
ON a serious side, we saw the articles about the boy scouts. That is just tragic. How sad to be at a leadership camp... and then the tornado hits.
sad.
