We praise the Lord... received a very short call from our son this evening.... he will be able to graduate with his company at the end of Oct. so we will get to see him at the end of Sept for a couple of days as we drive to Ga for his family leave, then we will see him at graduation in Oct.... thanks so much for everyone's prayers, and sending him a card or letter to encourage him. Truly we have a very special downsyn family and it's awesome to be part of it...

Our son has been in Fort Benning Ga since July 16th. We received a letter today....he sprained his upper quad muscle and the inside of his knee. He's receiving physical therapy and was told that he may have to re-do boot camp. Which means instead of us being able to see him graduate Oct. 31, we may not see him until weeks after that. This is not what my heart wanted to hear....

Please pray that God will lift him up and that he will be encouraged to keep going. We write him every few days and encourage him all the way.
