My sister made it and has met both of her children by now. As of our time this morning she had only met the oldest, her son. I loved reading the excited messages from her, but one thing that made this momma want to cry is - she said that he grabbed her by the hand and took her to watch him swing. He assured her that he could do it himself, but he wanted him momma to swing him. Oh the little things people take for granted, this little boy and girl have never had. It makes me want to go hug and kiss on all of them.

There have been so many moments that we have watched God work during this journey. One of the most amazing is that we have been worried about what to do to keep her kids out of her pool and how to keep them safe. This morning she watched the oldest with his swimming lesson. I am sorry, but I have never heard of kids having swimming lessons in Russian orphanages before.

Oh, as of now she is not sick thankfully. I really appreciate the prayers said for her. This is such an exciting time for all of us- I don't want her to waste any of her time being sick and missing the fun.

OK, I am a very bad sister. My older sister is adopting 2 children from Russia and is flying to meet them Sunday morning. Kenna was sick so we stayed home until she was well to make sure that we did not give anything to my sister- or the orphanage for that matter. Well, I started feeling not so good last night after we got here where we are staying at her house and now both Callan and I have fever and can't stop coughing. For us it is an annoyance, but it could really be a pain for her and may keep her from seeing her kids if she is sick. Yes- I feel like garbage, but please pray she doesn't catch anything. That would really stink to not get to meet her kids and have to make an extra trip because of me. Thanks in advance for your prayers.

I will pray for her. I know just how stressful it is when you are waiting to travel to meet your kids. And I hope you start feeling better asap.
