Looking for Enfamil A.R. Lipil coupons

Hi everyone,

I'll give a little background to share why we're looking for coupons for Enfamil.

Isaiah has had feeding issues with his formula from birth. His pediatrician has had him on all of the Similac formula family because they work in conjunction with WIC who in our area at this time has a contract with solely Similac. WIC does cover Enfamil but only the special formulas such as Prosobee etc.

Isaiah was diagnosed Monday with Reflux and is now on baby Zantac, he's doing great on the med. But, he was still having severe diarriah with every feed. We couldn't get the pediatrician to help, so our Birth to Three nurse gave us permission to go ahead and put him back on the formula we know worked....the Enfamil A.R. Lipil..... the diarriah stopped instantly with the first feed. Now the problem we have to figure out is either getting this formula somehow covered by WIC, or finding coupons that we can use to save money on the formula.

His nurse and I have talked extensively and the only thing we can figure is that there is an ingredient in Similac that Isaiah cannot tolerate....especially since the diarriah was gone instantly.....

If anyone has any Enfamil coupons they aren't using we would love to have them and I'd reimburse you for your postage.

Thanks,
baileyshome

I have a Walgreen's store coupon to save $13.85 on 2 cans any size. And some stores here take competitor's coupons so you if you have Walgreens near you, you might be able to buy the A.R. somewhere else if you want. Let me know if you can use this coupon - it expires Oct 20 and I will post it for others.

Have you tried finding a generic version of Enfamil A. R.? Target has a good selection of generics, WalMart does too even though Target had more specialty formulas the last time I looked. We saved $75 a month buying Alan generic formula from Target and he did fine with it.

Our area is supposed to be on the receiving end of a Target store.... yahaaay....but it's not going to be done until at least spring.

We have been looking at all our options and have talked about some other brands such as Nestle Good Start etc. There is just so much going on with Isaiah's health and keeping him gaining weight and healthy for surgery next month that we've just been using the formula that we have found works. We are afraid to change again and have to start over again.

The good side is that by spring, his two major hurdles will be crossed and we will just have the closing of his palate then at 12-18 months so if he is still on formula at that time we can maybe try the store brand that Target will have in our area.

Thanks so much for your insight and thoughts....your always welcome to share as well as everyone on the board....it's great to have an extended family!!!!

Blessings to your family and everyone at Downsyn,
baileyshome

I was at Target yesterday and checked the formula aisle - no generic AR.

I have some Next Step LIPIL formula coupons. I'd be willing to mail to you. I use them in the smallest availabe can and then donate the formula to the food bank, just so I continue to get them, but I'd rather send them to you. Just for the fact that the foodbank people probably get formula free anyway! There are 4 $3.00 off's. Let me know if you still need some.
