hey
We found out that Ethan has West Syndrome a type of Epilepsy. ( what a fitting name) We spent 3 days in guelph Hospital and 9 days at Mac Hospital. He has stopped smiling, laughing and sleeps alot. We are on meds now but they make him very tired. He also go a virus in the hospital and had to have Oxygen for a couple of days. There where other things that we came across when we there but we are dealing with them. We never left his side though the needles and the tests but man it hard to see him cry. We are now working on getting him better.

thanks for all the help

What a cute little boy you have!

I am glad that you have answers, but I am sure this is a bit frustrating to deal with too. You are in my prayers.

Hey Smile
how are you and Ethan doing? Are you guys figuring out the medications etc? Is he still sleepy?
I remember it was hard to get a "second diagnosis" on top of DS. When we found out Hayden had limited vision due to his optic nerve that was actually harder to take than Down syndrome.
So anyway I have been thinking about you! hope all is well
Rachel
