I really wish I was posting a happy update for Rae. But she was admitted to the hospital from the ER. She was coughing, wheezing, sneezing green, fever, and horrible congestion. She vomitted 2 times before being admitted. She had some fluid on her lungs. They did a XRay and rsv swab. The swab was negative but the xray wasn't great.

At 11 PM we got to a room in pediatrics and she immediately puked really big all over the nurse. The poor nurse is 8 months pregnant and Rae has had her running all night. She has puked 8 more times since 11. Now its yellow sticky liquid. She has only ate 4 oz since 5PM.

She is so miserable and every time she falls asleep, she starts coughing again which makes her throw up. Ugh.

Please pray for her to get better soon. The nurse said her Dr will be in early and now she is at the top of his list.

She said that she will probably be here for a few days and won't likely be out tomorrow like I had hoped.

I really was ready to be out of the hospital for good.

make you feel any better..... but they told me this is normal for preemies..... emerson has been back in twice for 2 days at a time as well as for sleep study. (worst experience we have had to date).

Will be praying for Rae and you! Do not panic it really is normal for pre-mies to get everything! (or so I was warned, told and now believe.)

Oh Elisha! There we go again. Yes, I will definitely be praying for her and for you! I know this has to be hard, it is hard to see our kids feel miserable.
Sending you hugs.
