Hi there, I was only able to finally log in to the site tonight but have been reading all you comments for a few weeks now.
I had my little Logan 14 weeks ago and only found out she was Ds when she was 5 days old. I new absolutely nothing about Downs when we were told and of course went onto the internet to look for information. It only made me completely depressed to read the statistics so went on the search for personal experiences. My friend Erikatx told me about this site of which I am extremely grateful! I feel that I now know so much and have been provided with so much information to prepare me for what is to come.
I am looking forward to getting to know you all. I will post some pics as soon as I figure out how to do it!!

Hello and welcome aboard! My experience is similar to yours in that we didn't find out until after Eden was born that she had DS. I was so scared and sad at first and it took me QUITE a while to realize how beautiful and smart and funny and cute and adorable (should I go on? LOL) she is. She is absolutely the light of our lives!!! This site is such a wonderful resource...I visit ENTIRELY too often! Can't help it. Anyway...looking forward to seeing pictures of Logan!

Congratulations and welcome to downsyn! I found out my daughter Ali had DS and a heart defect when she was born, and it was a tough time. I only wish I had found this place sooner--glad to have you here!

Congratulations on the birth of your Logan - she looks like a cutie! Our Logan is 6 1/2 years old now and in Kindergarten. I can't believe how quickly he's growing up!
We can't wait to learn more about Logan and your family.
