Becca was at the eye dr this week and she needs glasses....but they are sending us for an occular ultrasound next week. Anyone heard of this? Just wondering what to expect.

My older son had one of these a couple of years ago as he has something unusual about one of his optic nerves. It was not a difficult procedure, no pain and not very long. He did have to hold still though.

thanks....she did great. I don't understand how she can be so good for everyone else but insist on refusing to do anything I ask. Smile

There were some calcium deposits around her optic nerve but nothing to worry about.

They have done the occular US's on Russell's eyes. They just did one recently in the office, it was no big deal at all. It was a wand they used on outside/corner of his eye, for what they were looking at.

Russell has calcification on his cornea.
