Every Monday, we send in a few pictures on a communication sheet explaining what happened over the weekend. Today, Logan used one of the pictures to write about during "Writer's Workshop." Typically, we get a maximum of 3 words. Today, he glued the picture on sideways . . . but I just had to share his writing with people who would really appreciate it!

By the way, he's 6 and in Kindergarten for a 2nd time. Last year, he was tracing letters that were about 3 inches high. These words are about 1 inch high and he wrote them without any writing or spelling help.

A scan of his paper is below. In the (sideways) picture, he's actually standing on the floor of our high school basketball court, after the game was finished, and shooting a small ball of his own. The words say:

Logan
I wnt to the
baskitball gam
