Potty! UPDATE! :)

Wanted to share that Eden peed on the potty this morning!! Smile We have only just started introducing this concept to her recently. Last night we read a book about Koko bear's nw potty and she was actually paying attention (in the past she had no interested in this book at all). This was only like the third time she had even sat on the potty and the other times she just cried. Needless to say I was amazed when I heard that tell-tale tinkle sound and so was she! She opened her eyes wide and pointed to her ear like "what is that sound?" LOL Smile I know it won't necesarily be like this every time but I was impressed all the same! We heaped tons of praise on her, of course, and she was eating it up. She kept signing "potty" from time to time after that looking for more cheers! So proud of my girl!!

UPDATED 5/17
- Oh my goodness! My husband just called me and told me that he and Eden were all dressed and ready to go to the park. She had on her coat and everything. Suddenly, she tells him she has to go potty. (OK, so she didn't exactly say that full sentence. She probably signed and said "potty") Then when Luciano asked her "do you have to go potty?" she said "Si" (for some reason she says "yes" in spanish more than in English). So, he takes her coat off, puts her on the potty...and....SHE MADE A BIG POOP!! Shocked I couldn't believe it! She also peed in the potty again last night. Is it too much to hope that she will really get this concept so quickly? Very Happy

Now if only she will start walking!!! Wink
