I just have to tell about this, as it was a really great experiance:) I was already for while interested in the so called Doman programs and did them at home as good as I could. But in June I visited the Institutes for the Achievments of Human Potential in Philadelphia for parent training course called What to Do About Your Brain Injured Child. It was 1000% the best experiance I had! The program is designed for children with different type of brain problems, including DS. The Intelectual and Phisical programs are really great and I belive very helpfull. It does take a lot of work every day without holidays, but it is fun things to do together with the child. I really feel that at the end I had found something that can be helpfull for us. We are living in Europe, so it is far way to go, but we are surely going back to continue with the programs in advanced levels too.
