A reintroduction from an old timer

Having read about how the old folks aren't on downsyn as much I thought like the others I would update a bit. Below is a recent picture of Anna, 8 years old, as she was waiting for the beginning of a Mets Game at Citi Field. She has just finished second grade, is reading like crazy (currently obsessed with Matilda and the Wizard of Oz books), is a Brownie, made her first communion this year, and is at theater daycamp this week--the only child there with special needs. She is a funny kid who loves to tell jokes and sings songs with the radio--nothing like having an 8 year old belting out "I'm Sexy and I know it" in the back seat while going for a drive. This winter she learned to ski, and two weeks ago she successfully completed "Lose the Training Wheels Camp". We like having this kid around LOL.

I wish Robert was interested in reading....I feel it's magic to escape in a book but Robert has other ideas! LOL!

Thank Anna for bringing a smile to my face today!

When did Anna get so grown up?!!! She's beautiful! (I think you need to change your signature pictures.) It sounds like she's doing great. John loves to read, too, but he isn't quite at the chapter book stage. Thanks for the great update.

(p.s. Did you strategically place the DSRTF bag in the picture or was that a coincidence?)

It was the Fourth of July andnit was about 98 at the ballpark. I had been wearing the hat when we went into the ac restaurant so I took it off an put it on the table. We were waiting for DH when I took the pic so it was a coincidence . I wear one of those hats almost everyday in the summer.
