We spoke to Mikey's doctor and she said that she had prescribed Singulair for another child with Down syndrome and that child had the same reaction as Mikey. She wants to report the two cases to the manufacturer.

So now Mikey isn't taking anything for his asthma. He has a sinus infection (since October) that he is getting antibiotics for, he is on Zantac and Prilosec for his GERD, and of course he is taking synthroid.
