Temperature regulation

Matty has been sick this week with a GI bug and dehydration that had him in the ER this past monday night. He has also had a fever. When he is fever free for more than an hour, he is shivering and cold. I thought, maybe the fever is back, but he is actually very cool, 95.5 and 96 degrees cool. His skin looked a little gray and waxy. After he was in a warm bath for about 15 mins, skin color and warmth came back to normal. Maybe becasue he hasn't had hardly any food in his system for a few day becasue of the GI bug? Makes me wonder if I should call the Genetics Dr and ask about temp regulation and with Mattys cardiac history or wait until the bug is gone and see what happens.

I know Hannah struggles with regulating her temp and that is even after heart surgery

we do the bath thing too but if you are in any doubt you lose nothing by making a quick phone call and seeing what they say

Angela has a hard time regulating her temperature as well. Partly because she doesn't sweat. Summer time is really rough for her. She has a hard time in the winter but summer is far worse.

Thanks Jo and Leah
I did speak with the Genetics Dr, and she felt that from what I had described he could have a temp regulation prob, keep an eye on it, and if the grayish mottled skin happens again, if the extremities stay cool, etc call her and we'll go from there. Matt sees her next month anyway.
