Besides the obvious academic goals and therapy goals. What else needs to go on it? He will be in a MD classroom so I'm more comfortable that they'll know all the little intricacies of disabilities than a typical teacher would.
But I'm curious as to what I need to make sure is on it. For example do I need to make sure an adult takes him to and from the bus? Do I need to have in there the specific help he needs with toileting (pulling up pants).

Right down a list of your concerns and the team should know how to get that in to the IEP. I had Nate's IEP yesterday and it was so so positive and they really thought of everything and are putting in some of the goals that I want for Nate as well. I was so impressed on how positive it was. I didn't get OT or the extra speech therapy I wanted going in to the meeting but I am very happy with his IEP and very excited for the Kindergarten to start in the fall. I was very happy with the OT assessment and having him reevaluated was the best thing I did. If things need to be tweaked...I can always call another IEP meeting.
