Goat's Milk Formula

Does anyone have any experience with homemade Goat Milk baby formula? Our accupuncturist has strongly recommended this for Clara, and I'm willing to try anything that won't hurt her. But the recipes I see have rice syrup (more constipation?),corn syrup (he recommends against sugars), egg yolk, raw liver, etc. If it's not too complex I can make it, but I told him if I had time to make her formula and food I would still be pumping breastmilk for her. I don't see a recipe that has ingredients that are compatible with DS digestive needs.

Can anyone help?

I found a receipe that doesn't have rice syrup or corn syrup http://www.westonaprice.org/children/recipes.html. Be aware that Goat's milk is constipating as well (which may be the reason why other recipies have corn syrup added).

It sounds like an awful lot of work to me and needs to be done fresh every day.

Good luck!

Thanks, this is what I'm finding out: Goat Milk formula doaesn't seem as compatible with DS or the diet changes that he wants us to make for Clara. In Chinese medicine, soy is very bad for DS, and Clara is on a soy formula. If I had time to make a complicated formula like that I'd have a clean house, a sex life, and the time to pump milk for Clara.

There is a formula called Nanny Care in the UK and is a Goat's Milk formula. We don't use it, our daughter is breastfed, but I've seen it in the health shop we use.
