|

|
|
Well, some of my fears are coming true. Had an OB appt today and still absolutely NO progress. She's even still high up in my uterus. No where near my pelvis.
My Dr. thinks she's too big and I won't be able to deliver her vaginally based on my size and my pelvis size. So, he sent me for an u/s and the radiologist got me in real quick after my appt. She's estimated 9lbs 4oz!! Another alarming thing is that my fluid is extremely low. At 36 weeks, I had 16cm's of AF. Today I had 3!! Where in the world did that fluid go? Seriously. I haven't been leaking. At least not that I know of.
They sent me to L&D for an NST and baby was perfectly fine.
However, because of her size, Dr. scheduled a c-section for tomorrow at 1:00pm! So, we're having a baby!!
Definately not my ideal outcome of all this, but what can ya do? Better be safe than sorry and get this baby out, ya know?
Oh and we'll update as soon as we can. We'll either call Michele or DH will get online at the hospital. Pray for a safe delivery for us please!!

Will be thinking of you tomorrow, and don't worry about the C section, whether the baby comes out down there or up there, it doesn't matter, YOU will be holding a sweet little baby girl tomorrow and I'm so stinkin jealous I could puke. Kiss her sweet neck and toes for me!!!!!

Kathy,
I will keep you in my prayers today and tomorrow! I hope all goes well.
You are going to feel so much better when she is laying in your arms rather in your belly!
Post pics ASAP!

Oh WOW!!! I'm so happy and excited for you!! I think it is great that you have things scheduled so that you can get everything set at home. The delivery will go fine....the only C-sections I have had were after many hours of labor. The staff at the hospital told me that C-sections without labor preceding are much easier, all the way around.
Our prayers are with you. Please relax and enjoythe experience. Can't wait for picture!!
Ibby

Best wishes to you, don't worry about the lack of fluid, I had hardly any by the time I was due for an elective C-section with Bryan, it caused no complications at all and rarely does. Both of my deliveries were elective C-section, I was up and about in no time. Good luck to you all Congratulations.

This is from Grady's proud Daddy post! Hailey Jo left the womb at 1:09pm.. The doctor estimated that she weiughed 8.5lb but actually weighed 7lbs 11oz and 19 inches long. She has tons of black hair. Mom is worn out but baby Hailey is very active.
