EliasMom

so i've been working with some signing with elias... and now when he's eating cookie

he points me to the jar and i say "what do u want" and he sign cookie
then i say "why" and he sign "please"

its so sweet......... as i have said berfore, in mexico teachers dont believe in signing, and elias's teacher saw him signing "more" while he was eating cookies and i was out on the restroom. she was surprised.

=) and he also knows the signing for 4 songs from his music therapy class so i've catch him signing and babbling as he is singing ... too cute!!

and i can say to him "what dou want to sing" and he sing me the song so i start signing and he's happy

Great job. And good job to you too mommy- signing even when the teachers don't encourage it. It really does help them gain the confidence they need to start communicating Very Happy

Those are great news, Elias is doing awesome, keep up with the signing, I'm sure the teachers will start using signs with other kids once they see Elias doing it.
