I am new here. Is there a simple way to find members who are also first time moms with a child around the same age as mine?

Not really, other than just getting to know who is around. I'm sure you will get some suggestions. My daughter is almost a year old, but she is my 2nd child. Some suggestions:

Joel's Mom ... I think Joel is her first and he was born May 2006
katrinahope ... I think Marley is her first and she was born Feb 2006
Emeline's Momma ... I think Em is her first and she was born Oct 2006
ginnym ... I think Maeve is her first and she was born Aug 2006

I'm sure there are a ton more...I just can't think right now!

Hey, me too!
Lily is 5 months old today and we had her AVSD repaired November 28.
I've had trouble getting on and replying lately. I thought it was my computer, but maybe its a combination of things.
