My son takes the recommended doses of Nutrivene-D, DHA & the Night Time formula (he can't take the enzymes due to reflux).
After reading several of the posts in this forum, it looks like there is a ton more out there (Ginko). Rather than try to read all the posts and research each item, can anyone tell me what else (if anything) may be beneficial to him?
He's almost 6 mos. and I did notice a difference in him when we started the supplements, he's more alert and active.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Ginko is not for little kids. I think our geneticist said not until they are maybe 6 years old or older. We only do the NTD and I feel satisfied with that. Although I did just buy some pomegrante juice (thanks Steph! LOL) to try with both my kids.

It can be really overwhelming in the beginning! There are so many different things out there that people are using. I have to say from everything i have looked into there is no magic pill. It's a personal choice in finding what doesn't harm, and is within your budget etc. Right now Eliza does NVD and omega-3's every day and tumeric a few times a week. She has constipation issues so i may add some natural supplements for that in the near future (meeting with a homeopath in a few weeks), but right now it glycolax. We tried Ginko (I took my dosage right along with her so i know how it made me feel), for about a month but decided to wait till she was a little older before looking into Ginko or Piracetam type supplements - the help seems to really come when they are closer to preschool. I think you are off to a great start with what you are doing! Feel free to ask any questions.

With pom juice, it is all about the anti-oxidants that it contains. High levels of them, which is good. Do a search online for pom juice and you get a bunch of hits that explain the benefits.
PS...I got your PM and will respond as soon as I have a sec to pull out our paperwork!
