Of either MSB or Nutrivene D? I think we've decided to give this a go, but we haven't settled on the product yet. My only concern is that Nora is breastfed, and it sounds from the websites that we're talking three doses a day, so that would mean replacing three feedings a day with a bottle, right? Or am I reading that wrong?
Would it be better to just wait until she starts solids? I just know how lucky we are to have a baby with Ds who can actually nurse, and I don't want to mess with that!
I'm very confused. Anyone have any experience with this?

I only know about MSB, as that is what we give our girls.
I give our youngest one scoop in her morning applesauce or yogurt. She is almost two, but still in 6-9 month clothing (and she JUST got into those!) Our older daughter gets two scoops the same way, she is almost three.
If I were you, I wouldn't mess with breastfeeding. I would either wait until she's eating cereal and mix it with that OR use a supplemental feeding system where you could mix the MSB with formula and then feed it to her WHILE you breastfeed.

Payton has been on NTD since 3 months. In the beginning, we gave it to her 3x a day. She was nursed as well, so I would just mix the dose with an ounce of milk/formula and give it to her through the bottle, then nurse her. She did okay with it, for the most part. As she got older and we got busier, we have turned to giving her the dose all at once, usually in the morning with yogurt. Doing it all once a day is better than nothing. The reason they say 3x a day is because the vitamins break down and that way you are maximizing your potential, but really once a day is totally fine if that is all you can do since it can be a pain.

We tried to do it with pumped milk, but Noel only did bottles when we were out (not THAT often), and I never was very good about pumping enough to use everyday anyway. We finally got our act together about 2-3 months ago, when we started putting his Nutrivene in his morning yogurt and his dinner whatever. So now he's getting his 2 doses every day- but it took us until he was 1yr+.
We have the microencapsulated stuff, too, but it still was noticable to him- as he'd spit out anything I tried to mix it in until he started eating more at a time, too. I guess the stars just aligned for us, as it really seemed too hard to mess with before.
That's just us, though. We're kind of slackers.

I would mix it in breast milk. Since she nurses well and you don't have to pump, I am thinking it would be easy to hand express less than an ounce or so 2-3 times a day. We would use serveral 1/3 of an ounce syringes as supplemental feedings but if you only need it for the vitamins, I think it would mix well in about 2/3 of an ounce. There are different medicine dropper/syringe type things in the baby sections though the syringes we used came from a lactation consultant and Justin would suck on my finger while I squirted the syringe in his mouth. The lactation consultant called it finger feeding.
I believe the extra nutritional support from Nutrivene is very beneficial and worth the extra effort. Justin started at about 1 week old and has been on it ever since. So glad you are breastfeeding. Justin now nurses wonderfully and we have no plans to stop anytime soon.

Wow! I just noticed you also have six kids and your oldest is 8. My oldest is just about 15. You are blessed and I know very very busy.
