MSB or NVD?

I have always been a skeptic but I too am going to start giving Joel a supplement. I am thinking about starting with NVD. I spoke with Dr. Leitchman and we will customize Joel's formula to omit beta carotene since it can cause constipation in some. However, I did just receive my samples of MSB+ in the mail.

Why did you choose to go with one versus the other? Did you see any change in Bowel Movements once you started MSB or NVD?

We didn't have any problems when we started Carson on NVD. When they changed the formula it did take a little time to adjust and he spit up a little but not for long. We went with NVD because we were going to use Dr. L and that is what he recommended.

We are using msb. The main reason is that we found the experience of others - mostly from this board - so compelling.

We have not been disappointed. We have used the samples, lasted us about a month, and ordered some more. We have seen some clear changes in Wil. His therapists have too. We didn't tell them that he was taking msb and each have made some pretty encouraging comments and observations that affirm what we are seeing.

We have seen no changes in his stools.

I know Dr. L prefers NVD and doesn't like MSB+ because of the iron among other things, but we've been using MSB+ and had no problems. Kayla's done really well on it.

Payton started NTD when she was about 3 months old. She had loose stools for a bit and we had a custom formula, but she is back to the regular formula now with no issues.

We tried NVD vitamins first, but it caused Ellie is have diarhea . But in their defense, I never had her tested for a specific formula. We switched the msb and love it. She likes the taste better and it doesn't cause any change in her stool. Her stool is nice and healthy. She also does ambrotose from mannetech, and cod liver oil. But that is it.
