I have ordered my first bit of Nutrivene for my 3 month old with DS.
I think it is interesting that despite the contraversy about TNI, the only real drawbacks people mention are the price and the possibility that it might not make a big impact. I never hear about adverse affects of the vitamins on the body. Have I just missed this? Just wondering!
In my opionion there are no cons. Just Pro's. I can't promise Nutrivene is the reason but my son with ds who has been on it since he was 2 months old and is 3 now is healthier than my other two kids. Hit milestones way before his therapists thought he would and is generally doing awesome. My husband completely gives the suppliment credit the only reason I say I can't is because he has been on it basically from the start I don't know how he would have been without it.
Just make sure you give correct dosages. As long as you sick close to the dosage you shouldn't have any problems. Signs you might be giving too much is contunued loose stools or spitting up in which case if you reduce the dosage they should clear up.
I have no idea of others opinions as I have not been on here in awhile all I can say is what I know from experience and we love it.
