We got Hunter's 2nd set of labs done last wednesday. I really want the pneumovx shot to have built up some antibodies, but since he's been on antibiotics twice since the last dr appt, I am really not thinking my dreams will come true. I am going to pick up the results from the lab on my lunch--the real appointment isn't until July 1st. I don't want him to have to go through weekly IV treatments--even though I know it will 'fix' him.....please keep my little man in your prayers.

so on the 12 stereotypes of strep pneumonaei, 4 of the numbers went up--the other 8 are still below the magic number. (on the results it says that after vaccination there should be improvement in 70% of the stereotype areas--that's only about 30ish% that improved) 2 of his IGAs were low(they did A-E and 1-4). But his tetnus was good. His annual workup with CBC and thyroid were perfect though. I'll let you know what the doc says on the 1st if he's happy or not. The way I'm looking at it no matter what, some of his numbers are up--there's my hope that he's on his way. Thank you guys-please keep him in your thoughts till we get an official verdict.......

Wow...I am thankful some of the numbers are up.

Will they test again before the 1st?

praying that all goes well today for Hunter bug. and i'm sure your tough little man can handle the IV treatments if indeed that's what he needs to help him get well and stay well - what a blessing that will be. he'll have so much more energy that you'll need to hire a nanny! Laughing
