Here's another question. I bought this and have had Grady on it for almost a week.

When I squeeze the rubber bulb, I can only get the dropper to fill up about halfway. Is that considered 1 dropper full (there are no marks on the dropper)? I've been considering it 1/2 a dropper full, but I wanted to see what everyone else thinks.

We have really saw an improvemnt in Peyton's speech since we have started ginko biloba. I consider half a dropper half a dropper.

Thanks for the replies....still confused. Justin weights 54 lbs...so...how many mg of GB extract??? Is the 2.5mg/1 lb body weight the formula for the extract? If so, I should give him 135 mg?? or 1 3/4 droppers? I think I just need some reassurance that I'm doing it right! Sorry to bug everyone!!

I'm pretty sure that's right. Another mom on here helped me out and said her daughter gets 1.5 droppers and her DD is somewhere in the 40lb range I can't remember.

Grady weighs 37lbs, so he gets 92mg. For now, I'm only giving him 1 dropper full, so 80mg. I'll may increase as time goes on but he's only bene on it a week.

hi. i am sooo interested to start my Kai(who will be 3 soon) with gingko but still hesitant. She has stones on both kidneys and has asthma. I want to know more of side effects particularly kidney. her doctors will not recommend it. My husband takes gingko for his diabetes. I am taking it also before I give it to my daughter. Anyone here with kidney stones??

I haven't researched GB at all so excuse my lack of knowledge and more questions:

Does GB build up in your system?
If you have to get off it for a prolonged period of time, would the good effects of it diminish?

I read that it has helped many of you with speech and attention span. Matthew has got a pretty good attention span. Everyone has always remarked at how well he can stick with an activity. But he is behind in speech - has good receptive language but needs work on expressive language. He'll be 3 in October.
Anyway, I hope you don't mind my questions...and reviving this thread.
