Birthday wish came through!

It was my birthday yesterday and I thought I'd share something nice that happened to me!

I share my birthday with my identical twin sister Louise.
I went alone to her house the night before our birthday to give her a small present, have a chat and a cup to tea together.

In that conversation when I was there I was saying how I hope when my daughter Hannah is older that we have a meaningful relationship with eachother.
In fact I went as far to say that was the most important thing I'd wish for Hannah is that we have a meaningful relationship when I'm older and greyer!

First thing yesterday morning Hannah wished me happy birthday and she gave me a small card like the one you get when flowers are delivered!
In her hand writing was the following...

Birthday Wishes!
1 Voucher for a tea and cake out with me ( on me)!

I immediately thought about the conversation with my sister the previous night!
I will treasure this card....made my birthday.....I feel someone is listening and letting me know they are hearing me! Wink

PS We plan to have our tea together tomorrow!

Happy Birthday! I love the fact you take time to have tea. In the states we are always so darn busy to stop and share a cup of tea with someone who's special. I need to come to Ireland and have a cup of tea!

Jackie

We drink more tea here than coffee!
You usually always offered tea when someones visits.
My hubbie is making a cuppa for me now!
BTW....thats hot tea with milk added!

Your first cuppa in Ireland is on me Jackie!

Laughing Laughing I would love a cup! I actually have dear friends in County Mayo but it's been years since Ive seen them. They used to come to the states for the summer and begged me to come and visit when they would go back for the Holidays. I'll make it there someday! And I look forward to our cuppa tea! Smile
