Booster/feeder seat recommendations?

We are using an old Safety First fold-up travel booster seat (see picture below) instead of a high chair right now, and I really like it because it fits Ali so well. It's definitely no frills (flat bottom, flat back, no padding), but it's easy to clean and to fold up. I'm thinking about getting a second booster to use at home and keeping the old one in the car for travel.

We received the Fisher Price Space Saver high chair for a shower gift, and I like it, but the tray is too high for Ali to reach her food comfortably and the seat just doesn't fit her body. The Fisher Price Healthy Care Deluxe booster got great reviews on Amazon and looks like it fits even the little ones well. Any recommendations for a specific booster that you really like?

We use the Healthy Care Deluxe and have since Braska was 18 months. (She was about 16 lbs at that point, when we first got it.) It was recommended by our OT who was working on Braska's feeding issues. She said it was her favorite for a correct posture and holding them in the right place. We still use it, take it to restaurants and everything because it's VERY portable. Both my girls now use it and it works great. We've thought about getting a second one, even, so they don't have to share. Very Happy

I bought the FP Healthy Care booster (standard, not deluxe...the tray is different, I think.) I loved it so much with her that we bought another for Brodie once he was old enough. They are fantastic. They offer good support, are super easy to clean, and can attach to just about any type of chair securely. The part I especially like, though, is that unlike the collapsible chairs, I can use it on the ground if there is no chair on which to attach it! Very Happy

We have the FP Healthy Care also and love it - used it w/ our son and now w/ Jacey. It's so portable! We are actually thinking of getting another to take to restaurants w/ us as Jacey is just about too big for the high chairs...

We started Clara in a regular high chair when she was around 12 pounds - I just used blanket rolls on the sides and a little pillow under her tush. We have a soft cushie tushie booster that she uses sometimes, but most booster do not have the back support she needs and there's no foot support.

As she grew older, we continued to use the high chair because of the high back but she only had proper foot support for a short time. For her, positioning is very important to her feeding and ability to do activities, so we switched to a Keekaroo Height Rite chair.

After reading a ton of reviews I picked it over the Stokke - and it is has a seatbelt which many of these types of chairs do not. It also has the same seat cushion as the Special Tomato line of adaptive products so many OT's recommend it.

I got mine from OverStock.com, at the time it was the cheapest places. We love it, and it cost as much as a good high chair. But it can hold up to 250 pounds and the feet and seat are adjustable so she will use it a long time.

We have the First Years birth to toddler booster seat with tray. It's a really great seat, very durable (we've had ours since our daughter was a baby - so almost 6 yrs old!) and easy to keep clean.

Like Courtney we can use the seat on the floor ( great for picnics when you have little one that likes to butt skoot as far away as he can Laughing )
We take our seat everywhere! We also found the seat really supportive as Ethan would slouch in a regular highchair!

We also use the Fisher Price Healthy Care Deluxe booster and like it a lot. We have two and both of my kids fit well in it - 30 lb Matthew and 18lb Zachary. It's easy to clean and the tray is low enough for the kids to easily pick up food from it. I think the difference between the regular and deluxe is the tray and the height adjustment feature. We've also used it on the floor occasionally and it is sturdy and doesn't tip over. It's much better than the expensive Chicco high chair we bought for Matthew that sits in our kitchen unused because the tray is too high! Smile

We have the Stokke Tripp Trapp chair and love it. It works great at the table for eating and coloring. Ours has a seat belt. We're still using it at age 5.5.
