and has signed Mommy, Daddy, eat, and more. He signs more INDEPENDANTLY! He sits up all by himself, pivots like a champ, and commando crawled a total of about 8 feet last week at therapy (does that count ?!)

AND I have a brag for ME - a year a go I was devastaed. Thinking of adoption, thinking I could not do this.....and I've done a 180! I can and I want to raise DJ - he is the sweetest little thing (most of the time.......he bit a few people this weekend.........)Thanks to all of YOU

That is so cool! Sitting by himself! and I think 8 feet is a long way, I'm sure he does too

Signing at age 1 seems to me like a major achievement.

I'm so glad you are feeling so positive. I have had a few days lately when I feel like I can't do it, but all it takes is a "gooo" from Talitha and I am won over again.
