It's Friday evening here. I'm off out with the girls from our Mother and Toddler group. It's our first night out and it's to celebrate Mother's day which is this Sunday here.

We are off to a very 'posh' resturant called Rolys, one of the best in Dublin. I went there last year to celebrate my birthday, and I was pleasently surprised at how nice it was. By chance I heard one of the mothers worked in Rolys so I think that why it was chosen.

I havnt' been involved in the organising of the night, cos we had a lot of sickness here and I missed the last few M & T groups.

I am a wee bit nervous cos I know very little about these girls except that we all have kids with DS. There are six of us going.
I guess once we have a few bottles of wine put away we'll know alot more about each other.

Wish me luck!!

I'm sooo jealous! What I wouldn't do for a night out!

Don't be nervous. Parents of children with DS are special people. I bet you'll all get along just fine, and maybe even make some real good friends. Have fun!!!!!!!
