Is anyone on the board using MSB+ with their child? Do you have any experiences you want to share?

My friend Darla uses this stuff and swears by it! Her son is very involved too with a heart condition similar to hypoplastic left heart syndrome(not sure if I am saying that right) Anyways, she loves how you can basically make your own formula..you send them viles of blood and they do the blood work for you, she just loves it. Is there something specific that you were looking to find out?

In very simple terms it's the Canadian version of NVD. In the beginning when i was weary of the whole thing, i liked that the Canadian "FDA" was more stringent about supplements then the US FDA. There are a lot of similarities of ingredients with slight variations. I bought it first because i like they they were flavored. Then again Eliza started this stuff at 3 months and she hasn't balked at any of the flavors once. NVD is Dr. L's baby and he has said he disagrees with certain things in MSB+ etc. Personally i don't see a lot of difference between the two. You can do a custom formula with NVD too but it is $$$.

Here's why I asked....
Michel's mom had called the company and arranged to get us free samples. So on a lark (since we never really believed that supplements were going to make a difference) we started giving it to Mikey. What we noticed fairly quickly is an improvement in behavior, more vocalization, and a better appetite. Yes, it could be pure coincidence. I was just wondering if anyone else had their own observations.

When we first started giving Kayla MSB+ around 3 months, I didn't tell my husband because I wanted to see if he noticed anything. I figured my observations might be biased. Sure enough, he noticed that Kayla seemed to have a developmental leap soon afterwards.
Could be a coincidence. I notice that Kayla's development tends to go in spurts. I still use it on and off. I'm glad my kid's not on meds, because I'm horrible about being consistent with that stuff. Don't know if it makes a difference or not.

So we broke down and ordered it. I just see a huge difference in him on the days that he gets it. I never thought I would be the one who says this but that the way it is.

I've been trying hard to decide about this. I called and they said they would give us a weeks worth free. It's really difficult to know what to do.

We've made a believer out of you, yet, Tom. How AWESOME is that?!?! Really happy it's helping that great kid of yours . It is bizarre to know what your child is like and within two days of a vitamin to notice a change. It does sound crazy but that's the way it happened for us as well.

That is wonderful you find that it is helping. I have never done much research on it. If you find any info. I would love to see it. I have always said that I can't prove NVD works, but I am not willing to take him off to find out because Carson is doing so well.
Thanks,
Kayla

I called and ordered our free weeks sample of MSB+. They said it would ship out today or tomorrow. I'm not sure when I'll give it to her. But I'm interested to see if there is a change.

I ordered my free week trial yesterday. I'm really excited, as I do believe wholeheartedly in the nutrition for our kids. But we've struggled so much with the taste of Nutrivene that I'm excited to try the flavored products for AJ.
Thanks for the heads up here, Tom!

I will be waiting to hear what others think about it- especially the NVD users. Is this the one that you are supposed to have a special formula made and you have to send blood samples? We had some info. about something like that when Carson was born but we didn't pursue it.

You can do that. We didn't. We just tried the basic formula.

We got the fruit flavored and mix it with fruit flavored yogurt. Mikey takes it without trouble. In fact, he insists on it being in his yogurt.

Hmm, maybe mixing in yogurt would help. We usually mix it with Kayla's milk, but it's been making her BM's really soft, so I stopped using it for a while.
